Meet the new owners!

Jeff Solari is a former Zone Corporation employee who worked for the company in the late 90's and again from 2004-2010 on WZON. He had a background in media which includes time at WLBZ TV in Bangor, as well as TV staions in Mobile, Alabama and Oklahoma City. He currently owns Kosta's Restaurant and Bar in Brewer and Smoke & Steel BBQ and Axe Throwing in Bangor.

Greg Hawes partners with Solari on Smoke & Steel and owns several other sucessful local businesses. Among them, Stompers Beverage in Holden, multiple Brothers Cannabis locations and the soon-to-be-open Lincoln Tap House.

Together they have formed Rock Lobster Radio LLC, which will operate WKIT under an LMA agreement until the FCC approves the ownership transaction in 2025.
